    Chairman

    Christian is a junior at Kent State University studying Political Science and Philosophy. He has been involved with College Republicans since 2013, first serving as President of the KSU CR’s, then as Northeast Regional Director and now as Chairman of the OCRF. Christian plans to purse a career in politics and attend law school after graduating in May of 2017.

    Vice-Chairman

    Rebecka is a Political Science major at The University of Findlay graduating April 2016. She has been involved in the College Republicans since 2011. She began as Secretary of the UFCRs and was elected and re-elected to Chairman, stepping down in Fall of 2015 to serve on the OCRF board as Vice-Chairman after a year of serving as OCRF’s Northwest Regional Director. She also serves as the Vice-President of the Hancock County Young Republicans. Rebecka will be moving to Columbus in May to pursue a career in politics.

    Treasurer

    David Stanislav is a third-year student at the Ohio State University studying Chemical Engineering. David has been involved with College Republicans during his entire time at Ohio State. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Ohio State College Republicans and Treasurer of OCRF. David is a Republican because he admires free enterprise and the Constitution. In his free time, he enjoys doing things outdoors like running, camping, and playing golf.

    Communications Director

    Alexis is a Junior at Shawnee State University studying sociology and social work. She has been involved with College Republicans her entire time at Shawnee State. This is her second year as Chairman of Shawnee State College Republicans and she is currently serving as Communications Director of OCRF. Alexis also serves as a cabinet member for the company Future Female Leaders. Following graduation, Alexis plans to attend Ohio University to earn a master’s degree in Social Work. From there she plans to pursue a career in social work at a VA hospital while still maintaining her political involvement.

    Northwest Regional Director

    Nick Detz is a senior Sport Management major with a minor in Marketing at BGSU. He joined the CR’s his freshman year as an activity to get involved with outside of the classroom. He would later spend time as the Treasurer for the organization before spending his final two years as the Chairman of Bowling Green CR’s. His other roles outside of the classroom include President of the Sport Management Alliance, President of the Honor Society, member of the BGSU Women’s Basketball practice squad, and work at the Bowling Green Stroh Center arena. His favorite hobby is fishing.

    Northeast Regional Director

    Kyle Fink is a Senior at the University of Mount Union. He majors in History, with minors in Political Science, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship, he will graduate in May of 2016. Kyle has been involved with the College Republicans since his first semester. His freshman year he was elected President of the University of Mount Union College Republicans and actively campaigned for Mitt Romney in the 2012 election cycle. He has led his CR chapter throughout his four years at Mount Union, and in 2015 was elected to serve as the Northeast Regional Director for the Ohio College Republican Federation.

    In his free time, Kyle enjoys hiking, biking, hunting, and traveling. Kyle is a member of the city of Canton’s commerce committee where he assists with planning numerous summer events in the city, including Hall of Fame programs and activities.  Kyle also owns his own business, StarkGotSoleLLC, which focuses on providing convention services and operates in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

    Central

    Tanner Salyers is a Senior Integrated Social Studies Education major at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, OH. Originally from a little town near Portsmouth, OH, Tanner began his college career at Shawnee State University where he served as both Vice President and later President of the SSU CRs. During that time, Tanner served as the Political Director for the OCRF and the Deputy Chairman of the Scioto County Republican Party. 

    Tanner took a hiatus from college to become an insurance agent in the Portsmouth area for three years. Then, he fell in love. He and his wife Randi currently reside in Mount Vernon as Tanner pursues his lifelong dream of becoming a High School  history and government teacher.

    At MVNU, Tanner serves as the Vice President of the CRs and the Treasurer of the History-Political Science Club, and is currently the Central Regional Representative for the OCRF.

    Outside of political life, Tanner enjoys sushi, reading biographies of presidents, and the occasional RomCom.

    Southwest Regional Director

    Kennedy Copeland is a third year student at Xavier University. She is a Political Science and Public Relations Double Major with a Minor in Digital Media. She was elected President of XUCRs at the end of her first year and her leadership has grown her club by over 150 members. Her political hobbies include educating voters, debating fellow classmates and professors, and spreading issue awareness on college campuses all across Ohio.

    Southeast Regional Director

    Anna Lippincott is a senior at Ohio University studying journalism and political science. She got involved with College Republicans during her freshman year while volunteering for the Romney campaign. Her hobbies include reading nonfiction, writing, drinking Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, and instigating fights with liberals in Athens.
